Any person who wants to give a surprise ring to his girlfriend or dear ones should know the size of the ring that would fit them properly. Only then that gift would be more worth since they can wear it the time you present it to them. One of the ways to know the ring size is to ask her friends or relatives. When they are not around and if you know the place where they keep the ring temporarily, you can take it and draw a trace of it in a paper. Or you can use a small bar soap and press that ring in it to get an imprint. Another way is to slide it in one of your fingers and mark the place where it stands correctly. Later you can find out the size from the area of the mark. If you have any tapered candle you can slide the ring in it and mark the area where it stands and find the size from that too. These are some of the ways that you can try to guess the ring size.
