Greed is a game show in which the players or the contestants answer a series of questions that leads to the jackpot prize of $2 million. The final prize is varied on different episodes. The questions that are asked are multiple choice questions. The total number of questions is 8. As the player answers he will be moving to the next round where he will have to answer another question. As they move up the ladder prize stakes are higher. Once all the 8 questions are answered correctly the final prize amount is shared by the team.
In the qualifying round 6 players would compete and answer the question that was posted. The person who is close to the correct answer would be the captain of the team. Accordingly the other members are also selected based on the closeness to the answer, which is always numerical. Based on the score of the players in the qualifying round the players will be asked the questions in the next round. The answer has to be approved by the captain for the bid. After the first round they would have earned some money based on the correct answers. If they decide to quit they can share the amount among themselves and go on. Otherwise if they are greedy to go to the other round they would be risking the money earned in the earlier round. This is how the game proceeds until the final question where they would be risking all the money earned so far.
At the higher level a terminator is played before each question, where the players can question their teammates so that they can keep the money won without sharing.
