How To Make A Minnow Trap

A hardware cloth or a screen wire is needed to make a minnow trap. Other materials needed are a thin cord, fishing sinkers, and an ice pick. The cloth should be rolled in to a cone shape and it should be cut to any size of your choice. Tie up the lower side with the wire. Now fill up some fishing sinkers in the cone. Now tie a durable string to both the end of the open cone ends. Another line should be tied to the string for throwing it or to drag it. This would help to trap the minnows through the water. For the bait you can use crackers that are crunched up or use the bread in the trap. Cat food and dogs can also be used as bait. Now fasten a line to it and then throw it in a lake of your choice. You have to wait for a whole night for the minnows to fill up. Now in the next morning you can find the minnows in the trap and now you can dump them in a bucket and start for fishing.
