Leather cleaners are available in the market that could be used on smooth leathers. This would help you in removing the dirt found in the leather shoes. Alternatively you could also use the inside of a banana peel to clean the leather shoes. After that you have to wipe it off using a good cloth. Saddle soap or some mild soap can also be used to clean leathers. Cleaners in the form of sprays, liquids, creams, foams, and gels are also available in the market. When you buy any of these products you will also get an applicator that can be used to apply these cleaners on the leather shoes. You could also use a soft shoe brush to remove the dirt in the leather shoe. After you remove the dirt you have to leave it for a few minutes. Then use a soft cloth to apply the shining to it. Any cloth that is made of cotton can be used for shining. To protect you leather from cracking and drying out you can condition it. Use a conditioner on the entire shoe area. Leave it for sometime and then wipe it off.
