How to burn a DVD from a camcorder?

It is easy to burn a DVD from a camcorder. If you don’t have a PC you can use a DVD recorder for this purpose. It is easy than using a PC. Just connect your camcorder to the DVD recorder and then start creating the DVD.

In case you have a PC you need to connect the camcorder to the Fire port 1394 in your PC and then you have to run a software that is capable of extracting the video from your camcorder and burns it directly to a DVD. Software like Nero 7 and dvdSanta can be used for this purpose. There are many other software coming up in the market daily. Check them out for this capability. If you don’t have a 1394 port (which is similar to a USB port but larger than that), you have to buy it and install it in your computer before you start transferring the video from your camcorder to your computer. Instead of directly burning the DVD from your camcorder, it is also possible to transfer the video first from your camcorder and then using some other software to convert it into the DVD format and then write it in a DVD.
