For reformatting the computer you can use the Windows installation CD itself. Once you have decided which drive to reformat, you have to backup the important data on that drive. Then insert the windows installation CD in the CD drive and restart the system. Upon restarting you will see a message that indicates that a particular key should be pressed to go to the BIOS setup. Press that key and go the BIOS setup and change the boot sequence. Change it in such a way that the system boots up from the CD Rom. Now save that setting and reboot the system so that it boots up from the CD drive. Press any key if prompted to boot from the CD. Upon booting you will be getting a screen where you can decide whether to install Windows. Below that you will see the different drives that exist in your system. Move the arrow keys to select the partition that you want to format and press the‘d’ key to delete that partition. After deletion, you have to enter the size of the partition that you need. You might be required to press the ‘c’ key to create the partition. Once you have done this you will be needed to enter the type of partition, i.e. NTFS or FAT32. Once this is done the windows installation steps will go to the next step and format the drive you need.

There may be time when you cannot fix some problem in your system and you might be willing to reinstall the windows XP operating system. This can be done in two ways. The first one is to install XP by being in windows XP itself and the other option is to insert your windows XP CD in the drive and booting the system with it.

In the first method, you have to just insert the windows installation CD and you will be taken to the Windows XP page. Click Install Windows XP. In the next screen you can choose ‘upgrade’ for the installation type and proceed with the installation. Just follow the instructions and complete the installation. While doing so you might be prompted to accept the license agreement and to give the product key too.

In the second method, insert the Windows CD and restart your system. Press any key to boot from the CD. The program prepares your system for installation and then you have to press Enter to proceed with the setup of Windows XP. Options to repair the system are also available with the Recovery Console. This is what you need now since you already have windows XP in your system.

The documents, fees, and procedures will vary for the renewal of passport depending on the individual. For a person who is under the age of 14, the parents should accompany the kid. A recent passport size photo, birth certificate, parental identifications and a filled up DS-11 form should be submitted along with the application fee. If you were under 16 when your passport was issued then you have to appear in person along with the completed DS-11 form and a recent passport size photo and your passport.

Unless you are requested, do not sign in the DS-11 form. The consular officer will request you to sign after verification. If you were more than 16 years of age when the passport was issued then you have to fill up DS-82 form also along with DS-11. There are times when you see that you ipod is frozen and you can’t do any tasks with it. During those times you might be necessary to reset you ipod. The steps involved in resetting would vary with the model that you use. For resetting some models you will have to switch on and off the Hold switch. Then you can hold the Menu and Center buttons. The Apple logo will appear. Sometimes you will have to repeat this step. This method will work for most of the models of the ipod. If this is not working for you, you can connect your ipod to the plug through a power adapter and switch it on. Or you can try connecting the ipod to your computer and this might work for you. While connecting to your computer make sure that the computer is working properly and you are logged on to your computer and do not have it in the sleep mode.
