It is easy to make fondant swags. The items required for making fondant swags are fondant, gumpaste, small rolling pin, few wooden skewers, and optionally a garland marker. As a first step, mix the fondant and the gumpaste and let them stand for one hour. Then do the markings on it using a garland marker. Now spread out some fondant-gumpaste mix and cut them to a rectangle. You could use little sugar on it.

Now place the rectangle on the cake between the markings. Slide the skewers under the fondant and run your finger on it. Use three skewers under fondant at equal distance and leave it for a minute. After a minute bring the skewers together and remove them slowly. Now place the swag between the markings and attach the ends to the markings. You could cut it if you feel it is a little big and then squeeze the end. Do this on all the sides of the cake. You could use butter cream or royal icing and decorate the top of the swags with shell, beads, or star.

There are many types of curtain shapes that can be made with different materials, patterns, and colors. If you go in to any departmental stores you might find a separate section for that. There are stores that are dedicated to curtains alone. You can make a curtain with a single rod top, or double rod top. Some types would have a rod top with heading and in certain models you can have rod tops on both top and bottom with or without heading.

Before you make a curtain you have to measure the windows size and accordingly you have to choose the rod in which you are going to hand the curtains. You have to calculate the material length according to your window size. In most of the curtains you will be frills and so you have to choose the material accordingly. The word antipasti means before the meal . In an Italian meal the antipasto is the first item that is served which may serve as a starter for the meal. It is a tradition that they start with the antipasti and then proceed with each of the other meal. These are served before the start of the dinner. Usually a central plate with the antipasti is placed in the dinning table. There are many items that come in this category.

Some of them are marinated vegetables, pepperoni, cured meats, different types of cheeses, mozzarella, bruschetta, bread toast etc. Canning the antipasti can also be done at home but not all dishes can be canned. Only the freshly made items should be canned. You can have to boil the jars for at least 20 minutes before you can the food in them. When you are canning any oily items in the jars make sure that there is no oil dripping in the mouth of the jars. Otherwise it will be difficult to can them.

It is easy to make beaded coaster and it can be used on any occasion. The materials used for making beaded coaster are beads, cork coasters, permanent adhesive glue, small paintbrush, straight pins, scissors, and black felt. Beads come in bunches and they are called hanks. Remove the beads from the hanks and create slipknots on the ends of the strands to avoid slipping of the beads. Make sure that you take out as much strands of beads as possible to cover the entire coaster.

Now you can apply glue to the edges of the coaster and lay the beads on the glue. The thread ends can be stuck on the top with some glue in place. Dry it for around fifteen minutes. Now find the center of the coaster and apply glue using a paint brush around the center of the coaster. Place the beads starting from the center and stick them in spirals around the center. You might use a compass to find the center.

You can make your own headboard for your bed according to your taste. There are many types of headboards that can be made. Some of them are custom padded headboard, lace-textured headboard, foam padded headboard, tufted headboard, and upholstered headboard. Before you start making your headboard you should have the right tools with you like, tape measure, plywood, sandpaper, saw, batting, muslin, fabric for decoration, screws, staple gun, braid, electric drill etc.

Having these in place you have to decide the height and the width of the headboard. Then decide on the shape of the headboard with the help of the pattern that you have in paper. Then cut the wood in hand to get that shape with the help of a power saw. You might need to cut legs if you want to raise the headboard to the correct distance. Use sandpaper to sand around the edges and then staple the upholstery foam to it. Use upholstery batting to cover the foam. Staple it to the back of the wood. Now attach the legs if needed. Thus you can make the headboard according to the design in your mind.
