Filleting a fish leaves no wastage and very little bones. You can fillet a reasonable sized fish yourself and this can be used for any type of fish with scaled skin. You need a cutting board, a broad flat blade, and a thin flexible blade. The thin flexible blade is used to cut along the bone and the flat blade is used to remove the skin later.

Start by placing the fish on the cutting board and start from the dorsal area. Give a slanting cut with the thin knife and not through the bone. Now hold the head of the fish and start sliding the thin knife along the bone towards the tail. Don’t try to cut in one stroke. Go slowly like sawing. Peel the fillet back and you can use the thin knife to assist in cutting the fillet away if needed. The difficult part is the rib area and you have to take care that cut it slowly and by feeling the bone with the knife. Now repeat this for the other side also. After that you have to remove the skin from the fillet. Make a hole on the head side and insert a finger on the hole and use the flat blade to remove the skin. Hold the flat blade at an angle around 45 degrees so that you are not cutting away the skin but peeling it. You have to practice it to do it right.

Most of the kids are of the habit of turning to their parents for the petty expenses they make. It is better to make them understand the value of money. It can be done only if you make them work and earn that money for those petty expenses. There are many ways to make that happen.

They can type papers, teach swimming, take pictures of pets and kids, wrap gifts, shovel snow, teach computers or anything that they are well versed with, make greeting cards, mow lawns, wash cars, baby-sit, sell lemonades, clean houses, and walk dogs. There are many such work that the kids of the age group 10 to 12 can do. However it is better that the kids get the permission of the parents before they venture into such jobs. Find out the skills that the kids have and they can make flyers that state their talents and circulate it in the locality. They can also tell their friends about the work they are going to do that would get them some customers. For example if a kid would like to shovel snow they can get up to $10 for a yard and it depends on the size of the yard. Make sure that the rates they charge are minimal so that more customers come to them.

Chlorine is water is harmful to your health and it has been found that bladder, rectal and breast cancer could be there if a person consumes too much of chlorine through water. Water is treated with chlorine to disinfect and supply water that is free from germs. Even after processing the water with chlorine when it reaches the public it still has some chlorine in it. It is better to use some dechlorinating filters to remove chlorine from it before you drink it.

Dechlorination can be done using chemicals like sodium thiosulphate. But with this method ammonia is released and the level of oxygen is reduced in water. These have to be monitored properly before using the water treated with this method. Another way is to use air stones or towers to aerate the water so that chlorine dissipates into air. You can use charcoal filters so that the chlorine and chloramines are removed. In fish farms disinfection of water is done with the UV light treatment which removes chlorine.

DVD recorders are available to transfer the video from the camcorder to the DVD directly. If you don’t have a DVD recorder, well, you can use a PC and transfer the video from the camcorder to the PC and then burn it into a DVD. For this purpose you might need a Fire Port 1394 in your PC and software to extract the video from the camcorder and then record it in a DVD. With the software it is possible to burn the DVD directly from the camcorder without dumping the video to your hard disk. This would save you a lot of space in your hard disk.

Software like Nero 7 and dvdSanta are available for this purpose. You can also search the web for some more similar software that is available commercially. If you computer does not have a fire port then you have to buy it and install it in your computer so that you can transfer the video to your computer faster. You can also first transfer the video from your camcorder to your hard disk and then later convert it to DVD format for recording. Choose the mode that suits you.

Getting angry is part of the life and everybody gets angry at some point of time. It matters how you deal with anger. If you don’t know how to control it you are sure to lose something valuable. One of the common and most advised ways to control your anger is to count to 10. This works wonderful only if you practice. By doing this you can control your anger and what you do in haste due to anger. You also need to have some physical outlet to control your anger. For this you can do some work that is physically demanding. Something like going for a swim, jogging, or some good exercise would be good.

Deep breathing could also do wonders. Try to deep breath 10 times and you will find it yourself. Anger is a negative feeling and this should be given out at the earliest. Don’t build it up or try to suppress it in unwanted ways. Releasing this negative energy by doing some physical work is a sure way to help you to control anger.
